Due date for FY 2018-19 is 30-09-2020 or 31-10-2020?

Quick Summary
The GSTR9 and GSTR9C annual return filing deadline for the financial year 2018-19 has been extended. Initially set for 30th September 2020, it has now been officially moved to 31st October 2020. No late fees will be applicable for filings made up to this new extended date.

As per Notification 41/2020 CT , it's 30/9/2020.

Note : Expected to be extend.

Till date it is 30th September 2020 but it is likely to get extended by 1 month ( i.e. 31st October 2020 ) according to some reliable sources.

Government official notification awaited...

After obtaining due clearances from the Election Commission in view of the Model Code of Conduct, Government has extended due date for furnishing Annual Return in GSTR-9 and GSTR 9C for 2018-19 from 30.09.2020 to 31.10.2020. Notification follows....
