you can write upro 1 and half page for case laws qsn to explain..it is quite normal
in case of IDT, in total only 5 marks question from customs is expected as against regular 20. So better to concentrate more or DT case laws.
Just explain whatever you know about the case.........dont fear for the pages..............ICAI will provide.You may link and write ur own story.............ICAI will gv u time too 3 hours. Just write and write ..............don miss anything................

Really, are 10 pages required? Wouldn't the relevant content be given weightage. I think suggested answers don't exceed more than 50 in pages. please correct me if I can wrong.
Case law based question can be answered as follows
1. facts of the question
2. write case law as applicable and relevant provision.
3. Conclusion part.
Simply 1 page precise answer is sufficient for getting marks.
