Hey Shammi .... I also want to start the self study of DT from vinod gupta sir notes only ..... but my attempt is in May 2011 , Will i purchase these notes now for study as there are subject to amendment of Finance Act 2010 ..... Vinod Gupta Sir notes has practical problems to solve??

Pavitra ... m going to start my self study for dt from vinod gupta sir modules only ..... but from some persons i come to know that they dosnt contains practical problems ....

If u have time for study to may refer VK Singhania for Good Practical Problems .... Otherwise Vinod Gupta is best

I also want to say that , I done some study from TN Manoharan ... but in this many many mistakes in practical problems are ther.... this book is good for theory only ...

Vinod Gupta sir's book contain hell a lot of practical problems. i am doing it now a days. It contains exam like problems having more focus on the knowledge part of things.

while singhania contains a bunch of problems with complex calculator work.

girish sir's notes are also good, but it seems a little haphazard in the presentation aspect of it.

I am combining both VG sir's notes, and Girish sir's modules, which I think is the most appropriate combination.

Still if you wana refer to just one of them, prefer VG sir's
