Down status of traces web site as of january 3, 2014

We have been unable to connect to the TRACES website to review Form 26AS for over 2 weeks. Does anyone know the status of the site as of January 3rd, 2014? Are you able to review your Form 26AS etc?

I always get the error:

Site is not available due to technical reason.

I accessed the site just yesterday.. there was no problem

try google chrome/ firefox or try the site incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

I am overseas and still not able to get to it as of January 13rd from which pathway I try - going through Bank site or direct site etc.

I hope they have not mistakenly turned off access from overseas IP addresses.

Hi , Same here . Not able to connect from oversees since last one week I guess Today is 17 Jan 2014. Is anyone else also facing same issues? Have they blocked oversees IP addresses? I am first logging in the Tax E file website then using the link to view 26 AS. I think since last one week , its showing site not available due to technical reasons. What a pity...

I am currently in the US. When I go to this site

it just says:

Site is not available due to technical reason.

I have been getting this for a couple of weeks. Is this site working from inside India? Thanks.

Update: I talked to my father in India. This site and 26AS is loading fine from inside India. It seems like they have blocked this site from outside India.
