Doubt Regarding Direct Entry Provisional Registration

I finished my 4th sem and have received "provisional" result on my college website (will receive physical marks sheet in August). Can I provisionally register under direct entry scheme by uploading a self attested copy of online college results?

Hi Arya,

Great question about the Direct Entry Provisional Registration!

Generally, for direct entry registration (for courses like CA or other professional programs), the institute allows provisional registration based on the results available at the time, especially if you have completed the required semester or year.

Key points regarding your situation:

  • Provisional Result Upload:
Most institutes accept a self-attested copy of your online provisional result or marks statement as valid proof temporarily until you submit the original or physical marksheet.

  • Physical Marksheet Submission:
You will likely be required to submit the original physical marksheet or a certified copy once you receive it (in August).

  • Check Institute Guidelines:
Every institute or professional body may have slightly different rules, so it’s best to check the official guidelines on their website or contact their admission office.

Summary:

  • Yes, in most cases, you can provisionally register by uploading your self-attested online result copy.

  • Just ensure to submit the physical marksheet once available to complete your registration.
