hi Experts,

i have a doubt here. I recenlty changed my job and when i visited new employers website to declare my previous income details, there is a column ""Gross Salary including Perquisites".

is it the actual Gross Salary or the Gross net salary after the exemptions U/s 10.

i can find the below details in my final settlement.

Gross Salary

Net Salary

Net Taxable Salary

Gross Total Income

Total Taxable Income

out of al these, which is the amount they asking as """Gross Salary including Perquisites". ???

You can write gross salary earned from previous employer as gross Salary including perquisites.

Perquisites are the in kind benefits which are received by employees like rent free accomodation, etc. When an employer provides perks, they have to add the same to salary and deduct TDS on same.

If you have got any kind of perks, the same must been added in your gross salary as per Form 16.

So enter the gross salary of your previous employer as gross salary including perks.

we have deducted TDS before adding perks in salary ? what should we do now?
