Suppose, Mr.A has a business in Assam and West Bengal with different name, can he transfer good against form f, since the name of concern differs but the proprietor is same? Plz reply asap. Thanx

I agree with MJ Krishnamurthy, provided that in the registration certificate of VAT in Assam, the company in WB has been shown as a group company.Else as the seller is a proprietorship business and stock transfer is only within the group company. It would not be considered as stock transfer but as sale only where CST will be applicable.
