I am writing final in may 2016. Ind As is applicable... is AS also applicable

Yes.. For Students of May 2016, all AS are applicable and there is guidance note w.r.t Ind AS issued by ICAI which consists of the Introduction to Ind AS; Comparative study of Ind ASs and existing ASs and Carve outs/ins in Ind ASs vis-a-vis IFRSs.

Is it applicable for ipcc also?
Yeah, Aishwarya. All Accounting Standards and Ind AS only to the extent covered in the supplementary study material.
Institute has not made any announcements for IPCC students. So we can safely assume that it will not be applicable for the IPCC students.
