donation to political party in cash
what are the consequences, when the donations given to political parties was more than 2000

No consequence if payment through a bank
if it paid in cash above 2000 it will be disallowed
pls suggest the sections
Cannot claim under section 80GGB or 80GGC.
attn: Mr.sarath... there's no threshold limit for donations made to political parties in cash. if the donations are made in cash to political parties then the entire amount shall not eligible for deduction under either 80ggb or 80ggc
