DOES CHOICE OF EXAM CENTRE MATTER ?

Final 1686 views 8 replies

I have heard the examinees from smaller centres have better chance of passing because low quality of answer scriptts compared to big centres/cities where answer scriptts tend to be of higher standard.

Is this true ? What has been you personal experience ?

No, It's not true............It only depends on your Hard Work & some Luck to pass exams.

Exam Centre is not the criteria for passing % results.

Can anyone please guide me where we can get the data about the pass percentage of CA exams based on regions. I mean can we get the pass percentage exam center wise. Would appreciate if anyone can provide that information here. Thanks

I have heard the opposite. chances of passing from the big cities is better than in small cities. you can yourself compare the result of any small city and big cities.

I myself appeared 3 times from a small city and failed while the 4th time when i appeared from a metro i passed and got the marks that were really beyond my expectation. this may be because scaling is not done in the result of big cities where there are better job opportunities for CA's than in small cities. ( This is just my general obsrvation)

it doesn;t matter

as the answer sheets were corrected randomly not centre wise .

plz don't fall for all these rumours and prepare ur best as these things made as some sort of disturbances.

It's a baseless rumour.Only 2 things matter in CA exams-Ur presentation & ur Luck.That's all.

I have personally seen people attempting 60 marks in each paper & getting both groups cleared. That's smart planning.

The paper quality of answer sheets should be same across all examination centres.

This point is baseless.
