Sir/Madam,

We are in the business EPC of Solar System, There are two types in our business, 1. we do EPC of Solar Power Project- where ownership of project is customers and

2. We are Investing in Solar Power Project at Clients Place - different location, All Assets are in our ownership.

My query is that since in 2nd types its our own project,

what are the documents required to prepare or maintain when material issued for our own project at different location,

its accounting treatment under GST, applicability of Eway Bills, GST Invoice, or it will be treated as stock transfer. Please guide us asap.

Material can move by raising Delivery Challan (As per Rule 55) & E-way as required (value >50k) need to be generated on DC

You have to add the additional place of Business in your GST registration where ever you are investing.

Deliver the material directly from your Supplier with "Bill to" main Place of Business and "ship to" the investment place. if your transferring from your own stock points prepare Deliver challan as stock transfer and accompany the E-waybill if the value of the material is Rs.50,000/- or above.

DEAR RAJENDER

There is no need to add additional place of busines.

As per rule 55(4) , where the goods being transported for the purpose of supply but tax invoice could not issue at the time of removal of goods the D.C can issue & goods can be deliver.

As per circular 10/10/2017-GST: In case of "Sale on Approval" the goods are transported on DC

As per section 2(32) "continuous supply of goods" the goods are delivered on DC & the time of Tax Invoice issued as per Contract Agreement or successive payment reced.

There are many business where such practice of goods being send on D.C ie Advertisement Board Fixer, AC ducting work, all such business transport their goods to installation site at DC , because the actual quantity is not known at time of delivery & to be consume. so it is impossible to add additional place of business for every new order at different state.
