We got an order from the party who is in SEZ Area & he is saying they are exempted from VAT.
So, kindly let me know that
1)what type of documents we have to collect from the party
2)what documents we have to submit to CT Dept & when

Dear ,
You have not mentioned your or SEZ units location. For general location , you need to collect Respective VAT Exemption Form ( this form has different name in different states ) and file it to VAT deparment at the time of Returns Fieling.
In case it is CST then you should collect FORM I from SEZ unit.
