firstly its optional.

secondly, its supposed to broaden the professional outlook of students. as we know that CA students are behind MBAs only as regards soft skills and overall smartness as we dont get a platform which hones our personality. CA certainly makes us strong knowledge wise. But ICAI has realised that some amount of grooming is also needed.

And only time will resolve ur other queries. (OBC quota and all...)

I think those who will take it up, will be benefited immensely.

I think this programme will b helpful when we take our step in the Corporate world.... as we all know C.A students don't get the kinda exposure which MBA students get.... This course may help in grooming of C.A students..... coz being an article, i hv met many students who r brilliant students but need to learn some Professional etiquettes..... 

    The only Q. which many of us would be having is the Fees factor ....so let me tell u guys, institute is also giving loan facility which can be paid in installments..... so guys its ur call, if u think u can learn wat those people r teaching, than u can play with it....
