Do ca profession need celebrities to advertise...

hi dude u r referring about jagapati babu advertising sri medha know. he is advertising only a coaching center but not the ca profession or ca institute.

Well same as a think.....I never saw anybody advertising CA Profession, though coaching centers to advertise themselves. Now that doesn't afftect the profeesion in any form, its a private coaching, and its there problem.

             yes in my opinion sagar is correct .Becas of the advertisgs many students blindly taken decisions .it effects alot in their lifes

i have been seeing advertisements of a CA coaching centre in AP in Telugu  News channels  proclaiming that it is the BEST CA COLLEGE  in india.

Don't they even know the difference between a COLLEGE and a PRIVATE Coaching Centre ? 

Are these people going to give coaching to Future Chartered Accountants ?

Folks, i know that CA is a Correspondence Course and there are no colleges for it. The PRIVATE COACHING CENTRES  (Especially in andhra)  are deceiving  the common public who are not much aware of this course.

i think we students should form as a group and strongly condemn such fradulent and misleading acts.

WITH SO MANY STUDENTS JOINING CA, THERE IS NO NEED FOR ANY ADVERTISEMENT

Well our CA is still a profession and not business, we certainly don't need to advertise it. Apart from that evry advertisement nowads claims its product to be the best. Say, a film ad claims the film to be super hit though it might be a super flop, every ad on visual media like colgate claims "Bhart ka No. 1 Product, Trusted By Dentists". So ads today are mostly misleading, similarly CA Coachings promoting themselves is affecting them and not the profession, if in any way the profession is to be affected, I think ICAI will take enough measures against it. Afterall we already have a 15% growth report in the students enrolling for the course. So, i don't think we need to think on this area so deeply, or maybe I am wrong, Correct ME if SO !!!

This is not the only thing that is degrading CA profession. Using CA logo on cars by qualified guys is also degrading. 

i dont think they are advertising profession .  but one thing is sure that they are misleading the students by stating  that CA is easy than B Tech or any other course .
