whether a firm can be appointed as auditor of the co. if its 3 partner individually debt of Rs. 900 each.

no, firm cannot be appointed as an auditor of company. according to section 226 a person cannot be appointed as an auditor of company if it is indebited to the com for a sum exceeding rs 1000.or who have guaranteed to the company on behalf of another person for a sum exceeding rs 1000.
here firm is a person and amt is rs total 2700.
