but he feel that he could get better marks in cpt exam

then can he opt for cpt exam by submitting the result of the pe1 back?

Dear Members,

I  give you full details of my student status as I am not sure as to whether I am governed under PCC or IPC

1. I had registered for the course & started my articleship on 15th July 1993 & completed the same on 31st July 1996 vide Registration No BB051379.

2. I have appeared in The Intermediate Examination & cleared Group-1 in May 1996.
Now I would like to know whether I have to register under PCC or IPCC & what is the time limit for regsitration, what are the fees to be paid etc.
Whether my clearing Group-1 of the Intermediate Examination will be taken into consideration & also whether I get gredit for completing my articleship training.
Awaiting your guidance on these issues at the earliest.

Here a very big question in mind for IPCC vs. PCC.... for ALL OF US....

one of mine student who cleared CPT last week, call Delhi office and confirmed about the process of IPCC.... they said to go for IPCC instead of PCC.... becuase they said that if you did not succeed in PCC (November 2010) then automatically comes in IPCC and existing training of 18 months concludes as 9 months only....

i am not sure if it is true or not...... but if true the GREAT LOSS for STUDENT

IF you can help then it would be great pleasure for us an dit would makes us comfortable to suggest............

Plz provide information if you can.....ASAP.

Thanks & Regards

under IPCC the exams r due in Nov.2009 and if the student fails to qualify it ,the next attempt will be due in?

Respected Sirs,
I have been going through the website to seek clarifications on the issues that I have raised in my mail to you but still a lot of confusion prevails & therefore would request you sincerely to clarify this isssue at the earliest as time is running out & I am presently in Ghana, West Africa & keeping update with the institute from here really gets difficult.
1. I had registered for the course & started my articleship on 15th July 1993 & completed the same on 31st July 1996 vide Registration No BB051379.
2. I have appeared in The Intermediate Examination & cleared Group-1 in May 1996.
Now as per the syllabus of IPCC whether I am to appear in Group-1 or Group-2 & what concessions do I get for having cleared Group-1 of the Intermediate Examination in May 1996 subjects were Accounting, Auditing & Business Law.
Do I have to serve any additional period besides the 3 years of articleship that I completed & what about 100 Hours Compulsory IT training.
Earnestly request clarifications on these issues at the earliest.

Sir, could I Just go ahead & seek clarification to this.

1.My registration no is BB051379 registered with the institute on 15/07/1993. Is this registration no still valid. Completed articleship on 31/07/1996.
2. Cleared Intermediate Examination Group-1 in May 1996 Roll No 8986. Whether I fall under PCE or IPCC & as such since I am registered under the Old Scheme what are the cutoff dates. Which attempt should I appear & whether I have to opt for Group-1 or Group-2 of IPCC.
Your guidance would be higly appreciated.
Best Regards
