Why companies are not disclosing salary information as per the Companies Act and/ or rules framed thereunder. They are just showing that details are available, interested person can ask for the same.

Salary information needs to be disclosed seperately as per Sec 196 and Sec 197 along with schedule v is a pertinent disclosure that needs to be provided.
That i know but many companies are not providing the same even in case of listed companies also.. they simply put the clause that the details are available with the Company interested stakeholders can ask for the details.
I feel this is not the right practice. Proper disclosure should be given in the Directors' report or wherever required by law.

Companies May provide weblink ,but still it's a best practice to disclose salary details of directors and KMP !
