1.Can a person who is employee in LIC of India be appointed as director in a Pvt Ltd,,??
2. if no,, whether he can perform all the signatory activities on behalf of the company if power of attorney is given to him,,

There is no restriction to this effect in Companies Act. You have to check restriction, if any, in service conditions of LIC.
