for conceptual clarity Manoharan will be better, but for quick Revision at the time of exam G. Sekhar (padukas)will be good bcoz it covers all previous questions based on case laws at one place... and i think taxmann will be difficult at the time of exam unless gist notes is prepared.

yogendra bangur is best for clear of exam direct and indirect tax both... bt its not gud for concepts... bt for exam it give fruthful result....
Vinod Gupta's Notes are very comprehensive and informative. Prefer them.This time I read it first time. Very good for concept clarity and problem handling..
Guys I hv VG sirs module relevant for Nov 11 xam now for may 12 do I need to buy new or modules that I hv r sufficient..................
For DT prefer VG sir notes for exam point of view
if you study for any other pt of view u can take any other book like singhania, manoharan or any other book
Pdm. Sri. Manoharan's book is very good. but the result depends on how you manage it at the revision stage or day before exam.
