Sections are not important for the examination and it is little difficult to tell which sections are important for the exams.

All the heads of income are important and especially Business or profession and Capital gains are more important. And then Deduction under section 80 and basic concepts are important from the exam angle.

You can more concentrate on the latestly amended sections which carry more weihtage in the exam.

Assessment procedures are very important for the exams. The provisions relating to PGBP, CG, set off, provisions exclusively applicable for companies, non residents carry more weightage.
