9 months of study means that you should have registered with ICAI 9 months before appearing for exam... Taking classes is not compulsary...

Yes, you will be eligible to appear in the examination after completing a period of 9 months from the date of registration. It is not like college that you have attend classes. If you intend to attend coaching, you can join either at the branch or chapter where you got your self registered or with any private coaching academy, whichever you think is good. The coaching is not compulsory.

i have taken a direct entry in ca after my graduation (B.com). Completed my ITT and OT training now i have to do my 9 months training.

My Query is-  1) This 9 month training is a part of 3 year articleship like i have to complete 9 months training first, then appear for ipcc nd then remaining articleship of 2.3 months  OR 9 months is just a training and after ipcc  i have to do 3 year articleship.

2). In case this 9 month training is out of 3 year articleship.

and after giving ipcc exam, i can take transfer or not, as result will come in August. And  i want to do my article ship from good firm and at present i am looking for small firm for the 9 month training.
