i want to know resent batch staring for ca final classes. i have ever heard from my friends about Mr. Deepak Gupta . i  also want to know batch staring in next year and there timings also

 Dear sir,

I would like to draw your attention to a question asked by you in the last batch of idt (nov07-may8) related to rule 5 of valuation rule 2006 of service tax. You had asked whether expenditure incurred by service receiver to provide lunch, conveyance or similar facility to service provider shall be included in the value of service. Rule 5 of v. rule 06 state ,where certain expenditure or cost are incurred by the service provider in the course of providing any taxable service, all such expenditure shall be included in the value of taxable service for the purpose of charging service tax. Though this rule is not applicable in abovementioned situation (question) because the expenditure is incurred by the ser receiver but not by the ser provider, the assessing officer is Wright if he say service has been provided for a consideration not wholly or partly consisting of money. Sir, please reply whether this interpretation is Wright.
