Can the directors of foreign company has to obtain din while setting up the company first time in India.

Yes, any person who want to act in capacity of director in India he or she must have DIN before appointment as director in any company
where it is mentioned can u tell the exact provision ..cz co. act prescribes that every co. shall have such no. of directors and definition of company as in sec 20 is the com incorporated under this act or prev law..so how can this be applicable to foreign co..? i dnt thnk din is required if ut is plz mention exact section

so foreign company establishing place of business in india , its directors have to obtain fin.? u wanna say that , thats what i m sying since it is not incorporated under c.a.2013 why din will be required plz mention the provisions , section 380 onwards deals with such company

Directors of a foreign company are not required to have DIN u/s 152.foreign company means a co. Which is Incorporated outside india. here the business is placed by a foreign company .

And suppose the same organistion want to set up a company in india, so how they will form a company in india. what shall be the procedure.
By creating subsidiaries or branches or liaison office same to be held under foreign company categories.
