Dear All,
Do we need to file DIR 12 for existing independent directors who were appointed as independent directors in previous AGM as per section 149 of the Companies Act, 2013.

Not required.....but do follow all provisions of the CA 2013 as applicable to IDs like providing them letter of appointment, applicability of tenure of appointment, disclosures on the website, etc.
