Differential duty - sale to showroom

Dear Experts, This may sound a very basic question, but would like to get some expert opinion on the same. We have a factory , a dozen showrooms and few Dealers. The factory manufactures goods (eg, furniture) and stock transfer the same at X price to Showrooms. Half of the sale is made to Dealers at the same X price. Now, showrooms and Dealers are allowed to sell the same at Y price which is the MRP. Both Factory and Showrooms come under one company. Are we suppose to pay differential duty on the goods transferred to Showrooms? Please advise.

Yes, Mr. Vinod You are correct. You have to pay differential duty on such goods if you are selling transferred goods at higher than price which you clear from factory. For the situation you required to give intimation to departments for provisional assessment, than you can go for payments of differential duty.
