1. Initial public offer ;- New shares are issued by company to the public

2. Offer for sale       ;-  Promotoers or some investors who are alreday holding shares in a company offer

                                       for sale their shares say at the time of making an IPO.

3. Pvt. Placement    ;- Shares are sold to selected group of investors. A quick way to arrange for finance.
