Is there a difference between Individual and Women Tax payer in the event that the Tax payer is a Women Entrepreneur. In the recent budget different IT slabs have been mentioned for Individual and Women Tax Payers. How does the nomenclature make a difference when the Tax payer is a woman and also a Proprietrix of a firm.
Proprietor or proprietrix of any firm is considered as Individual tax payer under IT act.
Though the slab rates that are declared be different but IT rates for both are same at present. Under some sections some special incentives might have been provided to females for her uplift.
