Sir, In Form 26AS, Total amt paid to one salary assessee is rs.322500/- whereas as per form 16 his total gross salary is Rs.622500/- but the tax deducted is same.Now the assessee is asking for certificate from the employer on the basis of Total amount paid. whether the company should issue such certificate ?

In form 26 AS total Taxable income is mentioned and Not Gross Income.

if you want to file return go as per form 16
Dear Krishna sir the form 16 you mentioned may be given manually. you better ask your employer for form16 generated online.
Total gross income without deductions and receipt basis amount has been shown under the form 26as but from form 16 we can get total taxable income at the end so as far as I think form 16 is the base for filing the return of itr1 and etc. So according to form 16 we can get total taxable income.
