Developing career in Accounting

Hello friends. 

I  am working as an Accountant in a company since 3-4 years.

I do not have any degree related to Accounts or Commerce.

I am a graduate in some other stream. Now my career is stuck because of limited knowledge and no qualification.

What is the best way to propel the career ahead? Will any certifications or part time studies help?

I cannot leave my job to pursue anything full time. Just needed your advice for this matter.
