Dear Experts,

Please suggest to me. Is financial year 20-21 is starting from July - 2020 and ending march-2021.

The beginning of the fiscal year (2020-21) would begin normally on April 1

There has been no official press release regarding the same. As there are many requests put up due to the epidemic , the government will be considering to look into the changing of beginning of financial year for FY 2020-2021.

@ Mr Deepak Bissa.,

No more extension for the FY 19-20. It's also same as every period from April to March. The FY 19-20 is 01/04/2019 to 31/03/2020.

The news is fake. There is a clarification press release from Ministry of Finance

No, Financial Year 2020-21 would begin normally from 1 April 2020
