A cliente who files his manual return for AY 2014-15.
he didnot claim tds amount in manual return.
Demand notice u/s143 send hom
he replied disagree with demand
and further as incorrect demand.
outstanding demand showing on his portal..
what should I do?
when I make request to intimation for rectification it show no information for assessment year.
can I file revise return claiming tds ...?
Fresh claims of TDS should be file u/s 139(5) that is revised return within one year from the end of assesment year(2 years from FY). The income pertaining to TDS (including TDS) should be shown for assessment.
You cannot file revised return now. You can go to your CIT and make an aplication
