not taken deduction by employer 80 c

hello sir / madam

My querry is about form 1
my client is government school teacher
he has been issued form 16 by ahmedabad school board even he has submitted LiC slip and PLI receipt and his son school tuition fee receipt for deduction under 80c..but employer has not considered it and TDS deducted not shown this deduction in form 16.

can I claim these LIc PLI and school fees amount as deduction in income tax return????
wether it will not create any problems for future suggest me please
