Forget to send itr v to bangalore

in absence of submission itr V within time, department deletes the filed records due to non verification, chek at portal and if not found then upload again, 

if found present then talk over phone with CPC regarding the issue they would allow you to verify the same through netbanking / DSC or aadhar OTP 

Better to file a fresh return before 31st march

check ITR site if says return uploaded but ITR V pending if possible go for e verification 

otherwise send ITR V by speed post

@ Sureshji Please note : --> Nowadays once u have filed online ITR it wont allow u to file another one unless the first one is received by IT-CPC (Bangalore) ; --> Secondly, please chk the inbox of registered email id (at Income Tax Efiiling - Portal) of the case in subject umay have received number of reminders too there also ; --> Thirdly, the most important - NOWADAYS EVEN ITD-CPC ACCEPTS LATE SENT ITR ACKNOWLEDGMENTS & U'LL BE RECEIVING ACKNOWLEDGMENT RECEIPT.... . . NOW, As per my practically observance you may not be going to face any problem from CPC side even though u r sending it late, & you'll definetely receiving a communication receipt, as I hv already done in many of my practical cases (Its because Govt. Of India & Income Tax Dept., all want from the general public to declare there income & there should be as more as Return fillers - & thus are welcoming your returns at any time) ; . . Further, although preparing for the worst situation also (For 1% chances) - Still if they reject that, u have time to file it upto 31.03.2016 also u/s 139(4), but it will only be possible at IT Portal once the old one is removed over there. So, since today is public holiday, try to dispatch it 2mrw morning by speed post, so that, will reach upto max. on 30th or 31st & you'll be getting clarity.... All the best....👍
