Yes, you need to registered with Central Excise.

If the name of the business is same, is there any problem or directly it can be registered with the same name with address of Gujarat??

Yes, you can apply the second Excise Registration No. for second unit in Gujrat. You should mention your branch office Maharashtra at the time of applying for regsitration and got the registration.
