23 April 2014A company got printed its' Annual Report from a printing press for Rs.125000. Should it deduct TDS on the amount while making payment....If Yes then under which section and provisions........
If No then Why??

If we are not providing any material, only we are placing an order.. It is a contract for sale, not a contract for service ..This may be treat as one type of sales. So TDS will not attract in this case.

Even if you not providing any material, then also TDS under section 194C will attarct as it will be based on your companys requirement and specification.So TDS get hit in this acse. The exemption is only for those covered under circular13/2006 w.r.t to contarct for sale .Refer circular: 13/2006 and
