I am paying more then Rs.10,000=00 per month to a security service to look after my house. I make all payments through my bank . Do I have to deduct TDS compulsarily ? So far I have not been doing it.

If the person making payment is liable to tax audit then definitely the tds shall be deducted otherwise no liability arises to deduct the tds
Since the security service is for personal purpose and not for the purpose of business, provisions of TDS is not applicable

Provision of TDS not Applicable

Sub-section (4) of Sec 194C specifically provides that, individual or HUF shall not be liable to deduct tax where the amount is credited/ paid to contractor is exclusively for the personal purposes of such individual or any member of HUF.
