Dear Expert

Please let me know what the due date of TDS depostiton of last querter . I had tired to find out the same but there is two dates coming

7 April

30 April

please clear me and in case of tds deucted on salary then what is the due date

TDS is Required to be deducted on Monthly Basis, & subsequently need to be Deposited before 7th day of Next month in which tax is Deducted.

Only for the Month of March Due Date for Payment is 30 April

Ex. For April 7th May

May 7th June

March 30th April

CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT TO DO IF THE DEDUCTOR DOES NOT FILE E-TDS RETURN ON TIME AND IN THE MEANWHILE I RECEIVE INTIMATION U/S 143(1) INTIMATING DEMAND WHEREAS THE TAX HAS ALREADY BEEN DEDUCTED AT SOURCE. IS THERE ANY MECHANISM TO FORCE THE DEDUCTOR TO FILE E-TDS RETURNS ON TIME? I AM E-FILING MY RETURNS.

Dear Om Prakash

For the month of March TDS on salary should be deposited by 7th April and TDS on others should be deposited on 30th April
