Dear sabia, I don't think anyone here was criticizing or looking down at any course. CA, CS And CMA are more or less considered on par. Thus, that's the reason I had asked u guys Which one would be opt among the other 2 courses. Cmon guys, this is a healthy education And I was really looking forward to thought provoking replies!

At first, it is CMA(cost & management accountancy) not CWA anymore..
CMA & CA syllabus are related, whereas CS is entirely different..
Depends up on your interest entirely what to choose..
Even after completing CA,CS,CMA one may not get satisfying job..if he just want'sto get a degree !!

Dear Parul ,

Why don't u understand  WHY WHY & WHY ..... , AS YOU ARE A MATURED PERSON ,  only  " A GREAT NONSENSE & AN  IDIOT CAN GIVE AN ADVICE WITHOUT KNOWING ANY FACT " &  I  DON'T KNOW  THAT WHETHER MR. ANKIT BELONGS TO CA / CS PROFESSION OR NOT , IF UNFORTUNATELY , HE BELONGS , THEN IN THAT CASE

"  DEFINITELY , IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY HARMFUL FOR HUMAN SOCIETY , IF THESE KIND OF NONSENSE/IDIOT/RASCAL TYPE OF PERSONS  STILL IN ALIVE/ STILL IN OUR NOBLE PROFESSION "

BECAUSE IT IS AN EXAMPLE OF "  A  RAREST OF RARE CASE " AS HE CONTINUOUSLY MISLEADS YOU..

I am really sorry to say ,   but it is  200%  true.

Thanking You,

            PALASH RAKSHIT.( palashraksh*t82 @ gmail.com)..............

Complete CA first.. Coz having CS/CWA as additional degree won't be of any use at all..

Once ur done with CA, then i think u may go for CFA/CPA (US) or CIMA.

I'm working in one of the world largest bank as A.M. and as i see around these days the Perfect combo seems to be of one indian prof. degree and one international prof. degree.

Rest will be your destiny followed by you choice.

Thanks..

Hi Parul!

Your Intention to add another qualification to your profile is commendable. But CWA has undergone many changes now and you are required to undergo articles for a minimum period of 6 months to appear for the Finals. As you are in CA Articles now, this idea may not be feasible as the articles clash with the CA articles.

CS is better.but if you feel it is a diversion, then I have an idea..............!

Once you finish CA you can directly do Ph.D in many universities including IIMs.

SO a Ph.D from IIM can also be considered.

Apart from this, there are post qualification courses by ICAI like DISA.

Manoj! Thank-you so much for actually seeing my position practically And advising me on that path. CMA has the issue of articles,Which I can do only after 2015, so Even if I do it now,I'll be able to do only CMA inter.:/ Coming to IIM, trust me I had similar opinion,I really wanna do it from a top B school, but that too will take time to prepare for CAT And other necessary procedures...And my intention is to do a value add course currently. Along with articles,so couldn't think of anything apart from these two. Thank-you for encouraging! :)

Dear Parul,

Every profession has its own specialisation, and you can't master in that.

I don't understand why you people goes for more than one degree!!!!!

Is it for earning some more bucks or simply you want to prove yourself that there is no profession which you can't excel in???

My dear sister I would urge you to master in one field and not in many, because A ROLLING STONE GATHERS NO MASS.

As far as my interest is concerned Than  I would like to tell you honestly that I like true corporate world where you get the chance of interacting with  senior management and also my adequate interest in corporate and environmental laws and various allied laws.

Secondly, I am also not very good with numerical aptitude so it is worthless doing CA.

A CA is the king in Banking and financial organisations but noone give him adequate response in a manufacturing organisation(This is a hard fact). He is only concerned with reporting work in manu. org. but unlike a CA, a CS is much more required where laws are applicable.

Dear lokesh, I don't wanna do another course just for money or proving someone that I can excel in more than one course. I'm doing it Cuz the industry demands And when I'm capable of doing two courses at the same time duration, then why not give it a Try? Also,I've mentioned earlier that CS really attracts me. There my interest lies! Coming to the second opinion that you've voiced, I'd like to say that compared to a CS, a CA weighs more,Which Infact is my main goal. A CS can sign only those certificates Which are related to compliances, but a CA has a much much wider scope. So whether I do CS or CMA,I'll always belong to the CA fraternity first! :) Thank-you so much for your valuable time And opinions! :)
