One thing Failure is not Permanent..

Our whole Life depends on how u look at the things in dis world..Not on how dis world shows u..

I knoe she would feel bad if she fails in dis attempt coz  she has never failed in life.. But still She should go for dis nov 12 attempt and in case she fails she must take that as a steeping stone for her success and as a new chance to prove her best..

First part of this sentence  I DONT AGREE WITH THIS "JAINITH"     she will feel bad..

Need to prove a point to others abt some issues

if after a yr:   She is not getting cleared CA as she is low on confidence..or due to pressures

and then WHAT options after a year she will have..

1. she will need atleast 6-8 mnths for preparing CAT for a gud colg//avg colg

by d time she will atleast of age 25 

than will she be  HANDLE to cope with PRESSURE/ study with the students of age around 20-22

suggest on this issue plzzzz

Age is surely not a criteria to assess.... because some people even can't learn  at the age of 40 due to circumstances or lack of opportunities ...

the real question is  ....

after completing graduation we want  A JOB which can make us  more self-reliant ....so that we can atleast  bear our expense ...  

And family problem  and finance also play a crucial role in deciding ..... and this is also a part of circumstances .......So look over that issue as well.

success and failure are the part of life....again ask her not to worry about consequences yar...she should give her best whatever the result...

She should go for November exam because Sincere students should never be absent in exams whatever be the reasons except serious Health issues.

The term Failure should not be used here. She will not be a  failure. A bright students never fail.

The situation is so created that it becomes impossible to achieve. Regaring the issue of 1 year break I think She should not do so because constant/regular concentration on any area will prepare your mind for that.

Forget that past... those bright results... In this Situation it will nowhere support you but will only distract you and you will not be able to gain your confidence... Past is Past what was achieved was achieved. Donot let interfere in this present moment. Those past situation in which you tasted success and the present situation is different...

Every person will have to step into many rough phases in this Life Circle. The Student part is just a nominal percent of those phases... So Keep Going...

Your friend seems to be walking on a tight rope.

Having done MBA I'd say:

A top notch MBA shall catapult her (your friend) confidence to next level.

Environ in college is killa, one has absolutely no time to go back & think over the past.

Semester starts with assignments, then the presentations & the discussions and there the boy - the exams. All this in less than 5 months. And I haven't mentioned the regular lectures.

Competition is at its peak in Indian colleges, no matter how good you're there are people who are 2 levels above.  Your friend should opt for an MBA program only if she has recovered completely and can be on her own.

Having worked closely with CAs I'd say:

CA is brand by itself. CAs are pure analytical minds who depend mostly on hard core logics.

Wear several hats, have several aces up their sleeves and score high on functional knowledge. 

She seems to be an intelligent girl. In such case it's just a matter of time.

All she needs is time. Once her confidence is back both CA &/ MBA, for her, would be as easy as pie.

On appearing for nov 12 attempt, one should check both the level of preparation (paper wise, group wise) and the confidence. No harm is appearing but things shouldn't fall back on the face in case the result is not as expected. If she thinks she could handle the exam pressure and the odds with the results then she must appear for the exam.

Final word - Let her decide on the exams. Just ask her parents & siblings to accept whatever she decides.

 This is my suggestion (not an advice). Pls don't dash me for my views.

I think she should not think of past or future now tell her to be in present 

She has enrolled for Nov 12 so she has enough time to study for atleast 1 group 
(i m sure she ll clear it ) so there ll be no dissapointment

 Respected Sir I don't know what made u think that my post is gaudy ... Because I am no one to make fun of anyone's emotions .....

and about the situation you can easily feel the pain .....which trashed her 3 times ..... and every  hard hit  by the time can  even change a wise person's decision into ..........

Or you are saying it gaudy because I have used colors ..... Then excuse me !!!  Because I personally don't feel that  I need to feel blue as well ....  I use colors in my every forum . .... and I don't know what wrong  u felt  about this......

maybe  she  had posted the topic by herself on caclub or somewhere else .... otherwise she won't had requested me to do the same.

I would just give her the link of this forum .... as she wants a general view ... atleast I can do this. So I did it ............... that's it.

Renu  ask your friend to go for November 2012 only if  she is ready for the result whether is +ve or -ve. Her confidence should not go down as it may effect her future if she is not ready to accept it. If she is well confident and ready to accept whatever happens she should go ahead and appear for Nov 12 as she is intelligent may be she gets thru and clears and become CA. Ask her not to waste this period.

it was sad to read what hapnd to ur friend.i think that it is not a wise option to skip an attempt in CA coz we feel that it is better to skip an attempt if we don't feel cofident about it,but i wud say that it is better to give an attempt to test urself,just try n prepare for the fun of studying n not  in anticipation of the result nd u give ur exams nd even if u fall short of success u wudn't mind much.But if u skip an attempt  there wud be always a doubt about ur ability and more over if u try n start preparing for this attempt it means that u have already started ur prep for next attempt.

As u said it is not easy for a person who has not faced failure in his entire life to taste failure,but i wud say that success or failure r just interpretations of result coz without anticipating the result i just prepare n give an attempt to proove to myself that i am gudenough for CA n i end up getting 399 i wud be very happy rather than skipping an attempt n brooding over it.

Finally success n failure are just milestones which is a measure of our progress,the imp, part is the journey.So,ask ur friend not worry about pass r fail just ask her to give this attempt n prove to herself rather than anyone coz u want to succeed to show the world that ur gud enof but remember even if u get 800/800 there wud be people who wud doubt ur ability.so read,think,understand and analyse onething in life alwaya prove a point to the one whom u see in the mirror daily he is the onlyone who really tells ur capabilities.

Finally,all said everything i said is not easy to practice but not impossible either.just try thinking this way n u wud see exploring other side of u which is endless nd beyond everyone's expectations and  mere pass or fail.Try this u wud defenitely feel happy .sorry for such along message.Lastly,have fun,thinking of result makes studies difficult burdensome and boring.Results r just th examiners opinion on ur performance n everybody is free to have their opinion.Remember if ur gud un can succeed anywhere if not even if ur a ranker u wud be a loser in future.HAVE FUN.ONCE AGAIN SORRY FOR SUCH A LONG MESSAGE(infact i should say an essay)
