Once I pass CA, may be even I'll say

the attempt should be once in a year or 9 months &

passing % should be reduced.

all this to create barriers to the finalists !

What a killa attitute!

The above discussion is like all mouth & no trousers.

& in the end blame the president.

Results were good, thats the reason a chunk of the above guys are CAs today and many more will qualify tomorrow. After passing one shouldn't expect results to be cut down to 2 or 3 %.

Barriers should be created at the point of entry - filter candidates at the CPT level.

Seniors/CAs/other respected memeber please do not ruin the esipirt de corps of this forum. Your words could demotivate a current student.

If even after such a hardwork, u dont even get a good salary, then wat is the use of it. Now u understand Surya. Its not that u havent cleared & i have cleared, so i am talking like this. I am telling this because a person must get the fruit of his hardwork.

Tell me one thing Surya, if CA is tough, then wat is the need of it being so tough if a person cant get even 15000 pm after qualifying it. Why should we suffer so much if we have to get only a meagre salary even after qualifying it. Tell me the answer for this. We have to think from both sides, not only from the students side or only from the members side.

Many deserving candidates dont get the desired opportunity. Even candidates who prefer to go for jobs in industry are also experiencing a severe difficulty in getting the job with the desired profile with a decent package. Campus placement programs are as good as nothing because corporate companies are not willing to hire any fresh CA through these programs. I am well aware of the fact that there is always a ray of hope and so just trying to throw some light upon the current situation of the Chartered Accountants and expecting a positive and vibrant response from the veterans of our Institute which will restore repute of the Institute to build some confidence among the newly qualified chartered accountants like me. It is pertinent to note that many people still dream to be a successful chartered accountant and for that reason these facts would be worth to be considered.

You must have passed in 1st attempt. But that's no guarantee to your quality. The quality of CAs being produced aren't good.

Exactly. Once people become CAs they don't want others to become a CA. They don't want competition ie healthy competition. That is because they know they can't face healthy competition.
