For Costing : Sanjay Agarwal + ICAI Practice Manual

For ISCA: Manish Valechha (Memory Based) + ICAI Module

For DT: VG Modules (Plan Revisions properly).

AMA / Costing - Padhuka (or PC Tulsian if you need detailed book) plus Study Material and Practice Manual (It is better prepare your own notes for theory portion).

ISCA - Manish Valechha ISCA Book (Memory Based Edition) plus Practice Manual (The best book ever released for this subject, The book is quite self-explainatory.. it explaines all topics with examples, diagrams, memory codes....) refer Study Material if you have sufficient time but not actually reuired. Use with practice manual only. (Dinesh Madan is not effective it is useless)

Direct Taxes - T.N. Manoharan Plus Summary Module of Vinod Gupta (Prepare notes for lengthy and typical portion, if possible). If you need concice book for revision then go for T G suresh.

Though everyone has a choice whether to take classes or do self study, I believe self study is best method to score marks in any subject if the best books are available. So following are my suggestions regarding best books for CA final :

Advanced Management Accounting - Self study textbook by CA ( Dr.) P.C. Tulsian

Operational Research (OR) - Self study textbook by CA ( Dr.) P.C. Tulsian

DT - Vinod Gupta Modules

IDT – Dippak Gupta Modules

ISCA – Study Material of ICAI

Costing - if your concepts are clear, then ONLY THE MODULE will suffice. If not, try out Padhuka I guess

ISCA - There's a book by CA Devang Dalal published by Manan Prakashan. Hardly 350 pgs. EXCELLENT book. I got a 59 in ISCA reading that whereas its one of the most dreaded subjects where max people fail

Direct Tax - I referred TN Manoharan but would recommend Singhania to those who have sufficient time to study so that they can score. Manoharan will surely make you pass if done well but Singhania would help you cross 60.

Indirect Tax - Bangar. It covers EVERYTHING under the sun and NOTHING in the paper can come outside it so how well you do that book will determine your score in the exam.
