Please anyone tell me waht is the last date of depositing the TDS decducted on 31-3-2012.

i have also recd advertising bills worth Rs.50000/- dated 30/03/2012 today , so shall i make provision in last year and pay in this year or directly book the bills in 30/03/2012 date as i have date till 07/04/2012 to deposit the tax deducted in March 2012 .. So i will book the expenses directly in Fy 11-12 instead of booking in provisions and making payment in FY 12-13

Please advise.

Last date for deposoting TDS dedcuted on 31.03.2012 (even on any day in the month of march) is 30-04-2012 in case of non-government assessee.

You shall make provision in last year and pay in this year as we are maintaining the books of accounts on accrual basis. You have to deposit the tds by this 30th April 2012 also..........

Last date is 30/04/2012 for TDS deducted during March 2012.

TDS deducted in the month of March i.e. 1st March to 31 March, will now be deposited by 3oth April 2012. Thanks Mihir Doshi

TDS DEDUCTED FROM 1 ST MARCH TO 31 ST MARCH IS TO BE DEPOSIT ON OR BEFORE 30 APRIL.

So for my query even today i can book the bill in 30 march date and then deduct TDS on 31/3/12 & deposit before 30 Apr 2012

TDS deducted on 31 march-12 is to be deposited upto 30.4.12 but what about interest to be paid if paying on 5th may 12? will it be for three months i.e. march, april and may or only for may? please advice.
