There is no doubt on it that MF investment is better as compared to LIC , You should always go for LIC if you want RISK COVER , But as you want good return , MF is the best !!

Question by Mr. S E Raju is difficult to answer.
LIC gives you low returns whereas Chit funds gives you NO returns.
Thats like asking, should I hit myself with a brick or a stone ? The first question is, why should I hit myself at all ??
Why not go with much better avenues of investments ??

Mutual funds are attractive and valuable to small investors. Equity mutual funds are an alternative to individual stocks and bonds, and they are an easy way to participate in the stock market. so its good to invest in mutual funds.

Hi,
First let me clear that LIC is the traditional way of investment it won't give you more returns on your investment.
If you are looking better returns then allocate your all investment in various asset classes like Equity, Gold, Real Estate, FD, Mutual Fund.
Don't look LIC for Investment purpose, prefer only for Insurance cover.

Both option can offer you good returns, but the difference is insurance policy offers you long term benefits whereas SIP mutual funds is a short term returns plan in which can invest in small instalments and also decide the tenure of instalments.

Before investing in mutual funds, one need to demystify certain misconception and myths about mutual funds. I have explained this in detail in the below link.

this question can best be answered by yourself sir as to why you want to make investments...again it further depends on your risk appetite as well as disposable surplus funds to invest in various investment vehicles...every investment option has their own advantages and diadvantages...in my opinion a conservative investor should go in for traditional products such as FDs , RDs and MFs investing in fixed income securities,to get a detailed review of various investment options infopleez dot com

Can a best performing mutual fund now continue to be a best performing mutual fund even after a week, after a month, after a quarter, after a year…?
Then in that case, do we intend to switch our investments every week or quarter to stick only with the best performing mutual fund of the time.
