There is NO SEPARATE RATE OF DEPRECIATION FOR CIVIL AND INTERIOR WORK, IN THE COMPANIES ACT.

If the work is of a Routine nature, then it should be expensed out in that year itself.

If it is of a Capital nature, then it depends upon the Asset to which the work is being done.

Eg: If the the work is being done to the Office building, then it should be capitalised to the Buildings, and hence, it will get depreciated accordingly.

so far as civil and iterior work is concerned , all you need to segregate the expenses if possible to furnitre n fittings, machineries, electric instalation etc. then u can charge depreciation as per rule,  however if you can not segregate the same you can directly charge the same as furniture & fixture ..
