Can depreciation be lower than what is prescribed in schedule II for any company ?
Govt. has substituted only sub clause (i) to clause 3 vide notification dated 29.08.2014 whereas sub clause (ii) (restricting depreciation to minimum) is still there.

No i don't think depreciation can be lower than what is prescribed in companies act...a company may charge higher rate of depreciation but not lower..
