Hello Friends, I want some information regarding depreciation provisions applicable in case of Nationalised Bank. I am in a bit of dilema about the applicability of provisions of Schdule XIV of the Companies Act, 1956. Are the provisions of the Schdule XIV applicable as it is or some variations are possible depending on the particular Bank's Policy. Specially with regard to providing of depreciation at a rate less than the rate mentioned in the schdule.
Please provide some information in this regard.
