I have received a demand notice with the following reason "Challan is not available for the
AY". I paid Self assessment tax which is showing in 26 AS and also mentioned the challan details while submitting ITR but the same was not picked up during processing. Please confirm if i have to select "Demand is correct" and enter challan details or "No, demand is not correct" and enter challan details.

You have to select no demand is not correct and give the challan details
thank so much. I suppose i have to select this option in step 2 "Demand paid and Challan has CIN (With open challan details)". Please confirm. Also, what should i fill in the field highlighted in yellow (refer screenshot attached)
If challan is visible in 26AS then nothing to do, only file rectification
