We have received a demand notice u/s 156 we went to appel but the Income tax autorities are directly withdrew from my bank account without our notice.So please tell me whether incometax autorities have such right to drawn their amount directly from our bank a/cwhile issu pending in authorities. If yes please provide details regaring the sections or caselaws.

IT authorities can recover amount from any third person only if the assessee does not pay the demanded amount within the time provided in the notice u/s 156. But don't have any such right pending the appeal provided stay has been taken on such demand.
