To be on safer side try to file belated return u.s 139(4).
Yes, if the ITR is accepted by system.
Technically, you have to apply for condonation and wait for the response. But in case if you do not receive a response, or if you do not get positive reply accepting your return then your return may be rendered as invalid which is as good as not filed.
Practical approach would be file the original return again as revised return so that you can send signed ack to CPC in order to accept your return.
In current scenario (no more extra time NOW) no way for Your said idea or procedures...
Just simply it will return u/s 139(4) as per Mr Dhirajlal Rambhia Sir view...
If CDR not accepted then ITR is invalid...😇😇😇

Better to decision yourself...
As per my view "Go to revise the ITR - Today".
In case You go to file Condonation delay request. If it's accepted then no problem. If it's not accepted then ITR fall invalid 😢😢😢
