Deduction under secetion 80C

Hi Everyone

Could you confirm me that and an NRI can claim deduction under section 80C or not for the assessment year 2021-22, if he has only short term capital gain from sale of equity U/S 111A?

First of All Chapter VI A deduction are not available.for NRIs. secondly when one is.having income.from capital gains chargeble at a special rates then also these deduction are.not available.to resident as well.
